Grosvenor Group

Grosvenor Group is a privately-owned international real estate company. With a track record of over 340 years, they develop, manage and invest with the purpose of improving property and places to deliver lasting commercial and social benefit. They are part of The Grosvenor Estate, whose activities also comprise international investments in food and agriculture, financial investments, the management of rural estates and support for the initiatives of The Duke of Westminster’s charitable foundation.

Grosvenor's structure comprises four regional Operating Companies and an Indirect Investment business. Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, Grosvenor Americas, Grosvenor Asia Pacific and Grosvenor Europe are each responsible for their own property strategies. Together, they enable the Group to diversify by geography, sector, currency, property activity and management team. Our Indirect Investment business further diversifies the Group’s property interests by backing specialist third-party management teams.

With a focus on ESG, in 2019 they signed up to the World Green Building Council’s (WGBC) Commitment. This came with a promise to achieve net-zero carbon operational emissions from all of their directly managed buildings globally, by 2030, and to work towards all buildings across our portfolio, directly and indirectly managed, being embodied and operationally ‘net-zero’ by 2050.

Grosvenor Americas

Grosvenor has been active in the U.S. and Canada for 69 years operating in vibrant urban areas where our activities can make a positive contribution. Since 2004, they have helped supply 12,300 quality residential units and have transacted USD $4.6bn in investment property. They are currently active in the high-growth transit-oriented and/or amenity-rich neighborhoods of the San Francisco Bay Area, Washington, D.C. metro area, Seattle and Vancouver, Canada.

Grosvenor Britain & Ireland

Active in the UK for over 300 years, they have been creating and managing neighbourhoods while pioneering change and new ways of thinking about property. They are working to redefine the relationship between landlords, tenants and communities, based on a model of mutual success, and build a culture inside the business that is progressive, inclusive and high performing.

Grosvenor Europe

In Europe, they have been active since the 1990s investing in, managing, and developing mixed-use properties and places in vibrant cities including Madrid, Paris, and Stockholm. Their portfolio includes retail-led destinations in Stockholm, a growing office portfolio in Madrid and Paris and a strong residential development pipeline in Madrid.

Grosvenor Asia Pacific

They have been working in the Asia Pacific region for more than 25 years. Their strategy is focused on both investment and development in residential, office and retail sectors, with our Greater China business predominantly investing through joint-ventures with best-in-class partners while our Tokyo business has proprietary development and asset management capabilities.

Grosvenor Indirect Investment
By working with specialist partners, their Indirect Investment business is able to gain exposure to a wide range of regions, sectors and investment types that they don’t have direct expertise in. Since the first partnership in 2011, we have invested across Europe, North and South America, Africa, and Australia
